Business Analyst - Sports Industry (Permanent)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst to join our client's team for an exciting project within the sports industry!

About the role:
In this role, you will directly report to the Vertical Delivery Manager/Head and play a pivotal role in our software development team. As a key member of our client team, you will analyse business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of programmes/projects.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for software development projects within the Sports Vertical.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and other technical specifications for development teams.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure clear understanding and alignment on project deliverables.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and brainstorming sessions to elicit requirements and drive consensus among stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on the Sports Vertical domain, providing guidance and insights to both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Mentor junior members of the Business Analysis team and contribute to their professional development.

And this is what you have:

  • 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role, with a strong understanding of Agile Scrum principles.
  • Proven experience working on software development projects, preferably within the sports industry or related vertical.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and modern technology stacks is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (eg, CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.
