Network/Firewall SME
3 Month contract initially + 12 Month extension
Hybrid - Corsham, Farnborough
£625 - £675 p/d (Via Umbrella-PAYE)

We have a great opportunity with a world leading organisation, a true leader in their field. We are looking for a Network/Firewall SME to join the successful team on a fantastic, long-term program of work.

Key Responsibilities:
Skilled Network & Firewall Subject Matter Expert (SME) to understand low level designs, create and implement build scripts, conduct testing and validation for an on-premises VMware infrastructure. The following technology will be used within the environment Cisco Secure Threat Defence, Cisco Malware Protection, Cisco virtual Switches.

Key Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge in networking protocol (TCP/IP, BGP, OSFP etc.)
- Expert-level skill and experience with Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defence
- Experience with Cisco Malware Protection.
- Strong understanding of network security concept and best practise.
- Understand and implement 5 tuple Firewall rule and NAT configuration
- Proficient in document creation, testing and collating results
- Understanding of File Policy, Zoning and Controls.
- Knowledge and ability to discuss VLANs, IP Addressing, Routing.
- Knowledge on network logging and traceability.
